This Juice prep Speed Run protocol has been used by Yannick Wolfe many times. It harnesses strategies that help covid long haulers, into a protocol that can help everyone. Think of long haulers as people with various symptoms and organ damage. The strategies here are applicable to a wide variety of illnesses, so if you're not suffering from a debilitating illness, this protocol will make your dry fast a breeze. There have been a few small tweaks and updates since it was released, but they will be updated here unless there is a large enough one to warrant a version upgrade. This speed run juice prep is intended for dry fasts of 5 days or shorter. Longer dry fasts require better preparation if you are to do it correctly and safely. If you are going for a longer dry fast, please consider preparing earlier and spending a day doing an intestinal flush and a liver flush.

This protocol focuses on juicing to help make sure your micro minerals and nutrients are all accounted for, while at the same time maintaining optimal hydration before your dry fast. Juices provide a plethora of vitamins and minerals that will make sure you are ready and that your body is not deficient when you start. Iodine is a big deficiency, and some micronutrients may need a multivitamin. When using a multivitamin make sure that you are purchasing a whole foods type of multivitamin instead of the purely synthetic ones.

Juices
How important is juicing? *****/5
Cucumber-Celery-Ginger Juice (\*\*\*\*\*)
- Cucumber
- 1-inch ginger root
- 1/2 lemon (optional)
- 5 celery stalks
- Once the juice is ready, dilute it with high-quality water for a 1:1 ratio.
ABC Apple-Beetroot-Celery Juice (\*\*\*\*)
- 1-2 apples
- 1 pear Optional (add a pear for additional sweetness and minerals)
- 1 beet
- 1 lemon
- 5 celery stalks
- Once the juice is ready, dilute it with high-quality water for a 1:1 ratio.
Why does it work?
Beetroot and celery are my favorite vegetables for their liver-cleansing ability, and a multitude of vitamins, minerals, and trace elements. I believe these two are critical in your juicing regimen. Beetroots and celery have long been used to treat a variety of digestive disorders. I’m sure you’ve heard of drinking celery juice as a morning health drink. It works. Both these vegetables also help with the liver, bile, and gallbladder.
So, the goal should be to mix and match fruits and vegetables, while keeping to a core of powerful liver-cleansing ones. Ideally, you'll focus on green juicing to keep the blood sugar as low as possible in preparation for the fast. However, including berberine allows you to enjoy a sweeter version, which also has the benefit of helping your body retain electrolytes before you embark on the fast.
This means you get to enter the fast with a less toxic body, which is a massive advantage. This translates to fewer headaches, fatigue, and other uncomfortable feelings. When juicing make sure to dilute the juices with at least double the amount of water. So if you have 1L of juice after you get through all the fruit and veggies, make sure you mix it with 1L of water for a 1:1 ratio. This is how you make sure that you are focusing on rehydration.

Berberine
How important is berberine? ****/5
Berberine is an additional thing that I've started adding to my prep and even post-fast once meal size and frequency increase (post-refeed). With Long Covid, some people may flare up from berberine, but I believe it's important to try it out first. Learn more about berberine and the science behind why I am the first one to add it to a dry fasting protocol here.

Although there are stronger ones, I prefer the 500mg pills, taking is 2-3x per day with meals. According to studies, 1500mg/day is the safety-measured dose. During the prep, you should take it 5 minutes before juicing.

Milk Thistle
How important is milk thistle? **/5
Milk thistle represents trying to revitalize your liver. It should be part of a longer liver recovery program. Liver flushing and intestinal flushing are two of the most important things you can do to dry fast past 5 days safely. At least two weeks before your fast, you should start supplementing with it daily. Beware if you have a ragweed allergy, it's very common to have allergic reactions to milk thistle. What can you do in this situation?
- Dry Fasting has healed thousands of allergies, which are usually the result of a defective immune system. The more you dry fast, the better your chances of lowering allergic reactions which in turn will help you take things like milk thistle down the line.
- Alternative liver flushes like the olive oil and orange juice flush, and epsom salt flushes. Read more about liver flush and intestinal flush

Nattokinase / Serrapeptase
How important is anti-clot therapy? ****/5
Blood clots, micro clots, biofilms, inflammation. There's no doubt that the triple anticoagulation protocol makes you feel better, and a lot of people report improvements. Clearing clots will definitely make you feel better, but in 98% of cases, that's only one of many symptoms you'll need to work on. Learn more about the clot-busting triple anticoagulation theory and the science behind it here. There are 3 main reasons you want to do this. Lessen the inflammatory load on the body, prime for the removal of biofilms, and eliminate clots. Serrapeptase is also an anti-mucolytic enzyme.

Epsom Salt
Epsom salts, chemically known as magnesium sulphate, are a popular component in liver flush protocols due to their ability to stimulate gallbladder contraction, relax the sphincter of Oddi, and promote bile flow.
I would estimate that a minimum of 2 hours are required for a simple meal to trigger an ileocaecal brake response and 4 hours is required for the MMC. Consequently, 6 hours should elapse between eating and commencing the flush protocol in order to obtain the maximum benefit. Ideally, try to time flushes for the morning after sleep and no ingestion of foods.

Make sure to buy food-grade or pharmaceutical-grade Epsom salt, which is suitable for consumption. It is also referred to as "magnesium sulfate heptahydrate." Avoid Epsom salts intended for external use, such as those for baths, as they may contain additional ingredients or fragrances that are not safe to ingest. Activated Charcoal
Most people are unaware of how good charcoal is for cleansing the blood. There's a reason min-max protocols use it, and for that reason, if you're serious about healing deep-seated illnesses, charcoal needs to be a part of your protocol too. Some people refer to charcoal as a binder, so if you've heard of binders - this is one of the most popular and old school ones.
Activated charcoal is a potent natural remedy that has been revered for centuries for its unique detoxifying properties. It works through a process called adsorption, where the porous surface of activated charcoal attracts and binds to toxins, impurities, and other harmful substances in the blood. The large surface area and exceptional adsorptive capacity of activated charcoal enable it to effectively capture a wide range of contaminants, including chemicals, heavy metals, and harmful microorganisms. Once bound to the charcoal, these undesirable substances are safely eliminated from the body, promoting a cleaner, healthier bloodstream.
In addition to its remarkable blood-cleansing abilities, activated charcoal offers a plethora of other health benefits. It can alleviate digestive issues by adsorbing gas and bloating-causing substances in the stomach, activated charcoal can be employed as a natural remedy for hangovers, as it helps eliminate alcohol and other toxins from the system, reducing their unpleasant effects. Overall, it's a great thing to keep in your toolkit. Use it as a fasting bodily cleanse preparation, but also keep it around for day-to-day emergencies.

Enterosgel
A more potent version of activated charcoal for a stronger adsorbent effect. A very powerful binder. This is a powerful cleanse, as well as something to keep around the house for things like food poisoning, gas, and histamine responses. A great tool for toddlers and food problems as well. Dr Filonov uses Polysorb mp and enterosgel at his dry fasting retreats.
Magnesium Citrate
How important is magnesium citrate? *****/5
Magnesium citrate is used prior to the fast, and during the preparation, because it is more of a laxative, provides citric acid which helps dissolve calcium stones, doesn’t make you as tired, and helps you stock up your magnesium stores. So just remember Citrate is for BEFORE the fast, to help move things along gently. But you should not use citrate right after a fast, because we want to avoid citrus/citrate at least for the first few days. This is where Bisglycinate/glycinate comes into play. Or threonate.

Magnesium citrate pills also work, but you're forced to drink with water when it's a powder which is important as well as transforming it into ionic magnesium.
